When I think of Christmas, Santa and fairies I don't think kinky BDSM sex. This book is a new one for me but I really enjoyed it! Holly is a Christmas fairy who turns out to be a horrible fairy with a problematic attitude, while Santa was making her, he swore and things messed up. Holly loves pain, she has cuffs with spikes that she will press into her wrist to feel the pain, being a sub came pretty natural but she also has an attitude to resist it.
I love the change of pace from the typical erotic novels as this one involves a fun, darker adult side to the holiday wishes and some hot romance. Santa sends Holly out on her first Christmas wish in the adult department and Holly enjoys being a sub to her new Dom, Kian. The author does a great job with the development of characters, Holly being a fun spunky fairy, one of a kind. The story moves at a great pace and I never once felt like skipping or putting down the book. The sexual tension with Kian and Holly kick it up a notch in the last 20% or so and I didn't want to see their story end. I am excited to read more of this series.
I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.
