Nerf Super Soakers ~ Review

Each year the kids have been lucky to try out new Nerf Super Soakers by Hasbro, this year wasn't any different. With the warm weather well underway we have been enjoying our summer outside! Our favorite places are the park, beach or just out in the yard with some water guns. 

This year my daughter was excited to try out the Nerf Rebelle Super Soaker! This soaker is a bow & arrow type one that is white and pink. Made fun for the girls in their Rebelle line of Nerf products. My daughter couldn't wait to get outside and test out her new toy to soak her brother with! 

This Nerf Rebelle Super Soaker is a 3-stream soaker that holds 25 oz of water and can blast up to 35 feet. All you need to do is fill up the chamber and pump the soaker to blast your opponent!

My son is loving the new Nerf Super Soaker FlashFlood Blaster as it holds 23 oz of water and is very compact and easy to hold. He loves to fill it up and chase his sister around the yard. This soaker can hit a target 38 feet away but P is learning that his sister can move fast out of the way. The FlashFlood Blaster also has 2 separate nozzles! One for a Flood Strike and one for a Flash Strike. Prepare to get soaked!!

Review:

My daughter is a huge My Little Pony and we were both excited to check out the Classic TV series as I grew up watching this series. It really bought back tons of memories of my childhood playing with My Little Pony. My daughter loved watching all the episodes but says her favourite are Roll Around the Clock, The Tea Party, The Princess Problems and The Great Lemonade Stand war. "A" really also loved the sing alongs which are a lot of fun for the whole family. Roll Around the Clock is really funny when Teddy his skate while spinning around. Sweetheart got her skates stuck to Teddy's that is why Teddy's skate came off.
At the Lemonade Stand War they had to beat the three boys, Ace, Charming and Teddy by making different lemonades or drinks.

My daughter gives this Series a 5 out of 5 stars!

"A" says her favorite is Helicopter Dad because it is funny as Blythe's dad drove her to school and was dancing to the music in the car. This embarrassed Blythe as other kids were watching and laughing.  Blythe and Zoe are my daughters favourite characters. It is an amazing DVD set and A absolutely loves it along with the bonus Sing Along that she has been walking around singing!

If you have a My Little Pony fan I am sure they will love all the episodes included on this DVD as much as my daughter does.

March Break Fun with Hasbro!

The kids officially kicked off March Break Thursday afternoon as they had a PA day on Friday. "A" was excited to see a few new items waiting in the living room for her and P. Right away she went to the My Little Pony Flip & Whirl Rainbow Dash. A tore into the box and played with her new Rainbow Dash all afternoon. The pony went everywhere even to bed. A tucked in Rainbow Dash right beside her in bed. Flip & Whirl Rainbow Dash I have been told is Flippin Awesome! Sit Rainbow Dash down and she will do back flips. We had fun taking a few pictures of her flipping! This toy does require 1 AAA battery but comes with one.

P jumped right on the Nerf Reblle Heartbreaker Bow Blaster (even with its pink & purple darts) He was okay running around the house sending off darts this way and that way! One whizzing passed my neck and hitting the counter as I prepped dinner. Boys, eh? This has been one of his favorite Nerf toys. He even went on a hunting mission. The bow includes 5 collectible darts and can be shot up to 75 feet away.

Ready for the kids to sit down and play nicely? How about a game of Mousetrap? This was a fun experience as we each raced to traps another ones mouse. The kids had a blast the first time we played on the weekend and have played it a couple times more. I can see this being one of my daughters favorite games that she will be requesting a lot. It is a race to trap the first mouse to win! A one the first time and P decided we needed a rematch! The games went on for another hour.

Play-Doh for Halloween Treats

With the cool air approaching and pumpkins everywhere we turn the kids are very excited for Halloween to arrive. We still have a few things to pick up to finish off costumes and hope to get most of this done this weekend. We are ready for the trick-or-treaters.

This year we will be giving out a mixture of sweet chocolates for the older kids and also some sweet mini Play-Doh, which we will give to our smaller guest that will be visiting this Halloween.

You can pick up these bags at Wal Mart for $4.99 and they come with 20 mini containers of Play-Doh. These are a great treat without the sweet and I know my kids would be very excited to receive a couple of Play-Doh containers along their trick-or-treat route!

These would also make a great addition to grab bags at your next Halloween party!
