My Thoughts:

This is the first book I have read of Andrea Heltsley, it is part of the Reader Rater program I am involved with (see badges on right side of blog). Lately I haven't been reading to many supernatural books but I was looking forward to reading this book. The book starts out with a quick intro about Noel and her love life or well lack of, we then met Autumn who is Noel's best friend. I found the beginning of the book jumped right into the story and didn't really give a great description of the storyline or characters. The writing style was a bit choppy but once I got used to it I enjoyed the story.

To be really honest I didn't like the main character, Noel, I found her very boy crazy and not as freaked out with what was happening to her as I would expect. I did like Autumn and I really like Boone. Boone was a very mysterious guy and emotional with a bad boy cover.

The concept of a Dreamwalker was a nice and refreshing story as most of the books I have read in the last year usually have to do with witches, vampires or shape shifters. This book had a little of those minus the shape shifter and lots about dreamwalker/clairvoyants.

The story moved at a fast pace and kept with that pace throughout the book. It kept me wondering what was going to happen next and if Noel would learn to use her new powers. This book would be okay for young adults, it did have sex scenes but nothing to erotic and only a couple swear words (the B word). I hope to have a chance at reading the rest of the series in 2014.

I give this book a 3.5 stars out of 5.
