This book was just what I needed after moving away from as much processed foods as I can and eating clean and raw foods instead. I was blown away with the information on things that we think are less processed or safe. Also loved learning how different foods are processed and what they lose during this process. This is not a diet book it is a lifestyle change on how we eat. Most of the weight loss is achieved in the kitchen but to lose the weight we need to learn how to eat and Return to Food is a great resource to get people started.

The author includes nice drawings in the book that really compliment and break up the pages. I also love that Sherry tells readers that they can jump around in the book and it doesn't need to be read in order and to go ahead and use the recipes. It is more than recipes and information on how/what to eat there are also sections on mind and soul. Living mindful and eating mindfully. We have noticed a huge difference since starting to eat clean & raw and can't wait to add more of Sherry's recipes into our meal planning especially with it being summer we can eat more locally grown fruits and veggies. We have even planted a garden this year.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 and will be checking out more about the academy that Sherry has to teach people to help overs with the learning's from Return to Food. Thank You Sherry for all the great information.
