Review:

This isn't my typical genre but I have been working on trying new ones and stepping outside the box. I have to say this was a nice short read. It is about Poppy who has just been through a horrible breakup with her girlfriend Shannon. The two were suppose to take a trip to Paris together, instead Poppy goes on her own. There she meets a beautiful French Asian lady and the hunt begins. It is really an innocent story of a will see wont see and when will they finally hook up. We learn about Poppy and when she realized she was a lesbian even before she knew what it was. She has a middle school crush and then we learn about her college girlfriend. These are all Poppy's memories she takes us down while daydreaming also of this French lady. Finally they meet up again and start hanging out over Poppy's stay (which is only a week). The story flows really well and kept me wanting to read more and find out when Poppy will get her first kiss with Rochelle, even if Rochelle is even lesbian. The love scenes are steamy yet not rude or offensive.

I really enjoy this especially as it is written by a man but you wouldn't really think so. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
