SOMETIMES MISTAKES CAN BE PUT RIGHT. SOMETIMES THEY CAN’T…
When twins, Lily and Ollie, are stranded over Christmas at Great Hawkesden Manor with their mother, Stella, they have no idea what will happen when they find an old glass snow globe.
Inside it, not only is there a miniature model of the manor house… there is magic.
This is a time-shift adventure to be enjoyed by readers from 9—12, or beyond… who knows?
About the Author:
When I gave up teaching, I began to write about what I knew the children had enjoyed reading: a modicum of magic, a sprinkle of the surreal, a pinch of peril, a touch of time-shift, and strong characters with whom child readers would identify and champion. With intricate and unique plots, twists and surprises, the recipe for mystery and adventure was created.
To date, I have written eight children's novels and one children's poetry collection. They are all suitable for readers of 8 - 12.
I also write short stories for adult readers. Many of these have enjoyed success in writing competitions. I have compiled three short story collections and I am currently working towards producing two more. Also available is anthology of humorous adult poetry. I write serious poetry, too.
