My Review:

This is a must read book for families trying to keep connected. I find with our busy lifestyle that sometimes more than not I feel disconnected from my family. Making time to reconnect/connect each week with family meetings, involving your kids and hearing their voice is a must. Even at a young age you will be surprised on what they are thinking.

I am actually re-reading this book for the second time and highlighting passages I would like to try with my family. The whole Agile concept and making time for family meetings is such a great way to brainstorm with your family and have your children involved. We have been doing a bit of this making the children choose their discipline when they have been misbehaving.

This book talks about the concept that it isn't about when you eat or what you eat its about actually making the time to have a snack or meal together and have those conversations with your family. To connect and see what the day has been like or what is coming up in the future. This is something we have a hard time with but will be working on more as we have crazy job hours.

So many great ideas/concepts and tips to put into use, to help us make a happier home and family. Bruce also have a fabulous tool kit at the end of the book to help put the ideas into practice. It is a great read and I will be passing it along to my husband when I am done again for him to take a look at.
