Review:

I was hooked from the very beginning of this book! This is the first book I have read in the Moonlighters series and found it as a great stand alone. I wasn't lost one bit without reading the first two books, that being said I want to go back and read the first two as I looked book #3. The author doesn't play around and gets right into the story from the first chapter. She ropes you into the characters lives and makes you feel like you are part of the story. Holly is by far my favorite character as she is such a strong willed women who has made some mistakes in the past but is trying really hard to get on the right path only to have her past try and derail her. The author keeps the story going without any lulls and keeps you flipping to the next page to see what will happen next. We follow more than just Holly as the main character and the author does a great job changing from character to character that it doesn't feel forced or choppy. It is a fast read as you are so hooked on the characters and storyline.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars and can't wait to read more from Terri Blackstock!
