Project Grocery Week 9 ~ May 14-20th,2011

This week was the first week in a while that I went over budget. Oops. Well I dug into our savings for beer, Yikes! I also dug into the following week for products to get a $30 gift card from PC.  I promise to be better to my budget this coming week. I did at least receive 3 products for free and used tons of coupons.

Here we go!

Wal-mart: $29.47 soccer shoes for P as he starts soccer, bedding for the rabbit and Nice N Easy form hair dye with Free coupon ($9.97)

Staples: $9.36 this was an expense that didn’t need to be spent but I bought A a big floor colouring book (this was on sale for $4.97 and then another 50% off), dividers (these were also on sale and then 50% off sale price) and trading card sheets for a coupon binder.

Independent: $19.70 Bread order, with 50% off bread and then coupons. See Bread post.

Food Basics: $39.84 two products free, Mott’s Cocktail juice and a Glade Sense and Spray (total saved $11.78)

Independent: 2nd trip for gift card items. $24.34 - $20.99 worth of Quaker and Doritos products to mail in for a $30 gift card for PC. Plus a pack of hamburger buns 50% off.

Total: $131.38 over by $31.38 This week I will have to watch what I spend as I have only $68.62 to spend. Can I do it?

Total Coupons: $35.25 this week! Yay, like I said before I use only coupons for products we need and use.
