Tell us a little bit about yourself and why/what inspired you to write? When did you start writing?

Mom first, writer next. I started writing as a teenager but more for fun than as a career.

What was your inspiration for Yetunde?

My mom and daughter

What three words would you use to best describe Yetunde?

Different, educative and captivating

Can you tell us if you’re working on anything else at the moment?

Just promoting Yetunde at the the moment

What was your very first book that you wrote?

Yetunde: The Life and Times of a Yoruba girl in London is my first book

Other than your own, what are your favourite books?

Stephen King books

When you are writing to you like to listen to music? What is on your playlist?

I write only when my daughter is asleep, so no music for me

Who is your favorite character in your books?

Definitely baby Yetunde 

Do you ever take characteristics or nuances from close friends or family when working on character development and if so has that friend or family member noticed and what was their response to it?

One of the characters in the book has the same name as my niece and her sister was upset I didn't use her name

What’s your favourite treat?

I love any food I don't have to cook, not a fan a sweeties

What’s your Favourite place to read/write?

In bed

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

London
